Following a recent review of MOT tests the following changes have been made.
MOT CERTIFICATE FORGERIES
From November 2011 the MOT Certificate ceased to be printed on government provided paper and became incredibly easy to forge as it is printed on plain white A4 sized paper.
Companies have a duty to ensure that vehicles that are used on the companies business are legally able to do so and the only way that this can be assured is to validate the MOT with VOSA.

MOT TEST ITEMS
From January 2012 the MOT test is increasing the number of items that need to be checked to successfully complete the test.
The increased number of items mean that it is more likely that a vehicle could fail its test.
